‘Sharksfest’ on Fox
For those with Foxtel IQ it’s time to clear some space and push record for a 10-hour feast of Sharks football tomorrow (Tuesday), with Fox Sports to show some of the most memorable Cronulla games dating back to the late 1980’s.

The ‘Sharksfest’ kicks off at noon with the 2013 elimination final victory over the Cowboys, goes as far back as to show classic encounters from 1995 and 1996, before ending with a semi-final match up against the Bulldogs from 2001.

The games should bring back plenty of memories, with some of the greatest Sharks players in action.

For those without Fox who might want to take in a game or two, the new Sharks ‘Locker Room’ Sports Bar in Sharkies Leagues Club will show the ‘Sharksfest’ games from around 1.00pm tomorrow.

Your team for the Nines
We left one out when coming up with the Sharks website team for the 2015 #NRLAkl9s but the talk of Sharks training is that newcomer Kyle Stanley is almost certain to make his debut in Sharks colours at the event kicking off on January 31.

A member of the Samoan team which was impressive in the Four Nations, Stanley has played almost every position in the backline during his NRL career, as well as the occasional stint at hooker, and is perfectly suited to the Nines format.

He has also impressed in at training since joining the squad following his Four Nations commitments and will be in line for not only the Nines squad but also a utility bench position with the Sharks once the season proper gets underway in March.

Did you pick Stanley in your Nines squad?

The official Sharks team for the Auckland Nines is expected to be announced within the next week.

If you haven’t submitted a team as yet, let us know who you think should travel across the ditch and contest the Auckland Nines for the Sharks in a couple of weeks’ time?

Fill out the form below and select your team.
