Sharks to get ‘Wet and Wild’
The Sharks are set to get ‘Wet and Wild’ tomorrow but hold the presses, their activity is unlikely to attract back page headlines for any of the wrong reasons.

As a team bonding activity the team will head out to the ‘Wet and Wild’ water park in Sydney’s west as something of a reward for their first three weeks of effort on the training paddock and in the gym.

“The team has been training hard and this will be a team activity where they can have a bit of fun and interact with the community and the patrons at Wet and Wild at the same time,” Coach Shane Flanagan said.

The Sharks will train in the morning before heading west to Wet and Wild.

Best tip for anyone heading out to Wet and Wild tomorrow might be to keep clear of the Fifita twins or perhaps giant new recruit Saul Houma, with the trio to potentially create plenty of mayhem on some of the rides and water slides.

Pathway to Origin
Four young Sharks have been chosen to attend a NSWRL Under 20’s Origin Pathways camp which will be headed up by VB NSW Blues Coach Laurie Daley.

Anthony Moraitis, Jack Bird, Brad Dietz and Myles Taueli will assemble at the Narabeen Sports Academy with a collection of talented under 20’s from a number of other clubs where the two-day Pathways Camp will see them participate in training and skills work and also enjoy sessions on the type of attitude and high performance required for State of Origin delivered by several guest speakers.

Combined with the other Sharks 20’s currently in the UK with the Australian Schoolboys and the future looks bright with the young talent coming through the Cronulla club.

Update - NRL Draw for 2015
The NRL has confirmed the fan-friendly fixed schedule draw for next year's NRL Telstra Premiership would be finalised mid-December.

NRL's Head of Commercial Paul Kind said this would give rugby league members and fans two-and-a-half months to plan for the start of the season, which kicks off on 5 March, adding that developing the fan-friendly fixed season schedule was complex and the NRL and its broadcast partners, Nine and FOX SPORTS, were in the final stages.

"We listened to our members and fans who told us loud and clear in 2012 that they wanted a fixed season schedule," Mr Kind said. "This was the number one goal for members and clubs so they had certainty for the vast majority of the season."

The fixed draw came into being for the start of the 2013 season.

The Sharks will communicate the 2015 Telstra Premiership season Draw through their social and media channels as soon as it becomes available.

Happy Birthday Coach!
He was thrown a surprise party attended by family and friends on Saturday, however today, December 2, was officially Coach Shane Flanagan’s 50th birthday.

And the Sharks celebrated with a cake for Flanno, who while slightly embarrassed by the all the fuss, blew out the candles, cut the cake and listened to a rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ from staff and players.

What do you think his birthday wish might be? Happy Birthday Shane.
