There was plenty of media interest surrounding Ben Barba's first official day as a Sharks, however it was business as usual for the rest of the squad as the team went through their paces at pre-season training today.

Back on the job Shane Flanagan led the way, incoming assistant coach Steve Price offererd his expertise, while NRL Performance Manager Andrew Gray ran the players through a series of speed and agility drills.

Barba was the focal point, however the likes of Andrew Fifita, as boisterous and vocal as ever, stole plenty of limelight at the same time.

Also on hand were some of the Sharks newcomers in Jack Bird, Jayson Bukuya, Todd Murphy, Sami Sauiluma and Saul Houma.

Sharks TV cameras were on hand and caught some of the action, with a video highlights package of today's training now playing.
