The Sharks shocking run with injury has continued, with Michael Lichaa out of the match against the Cowboys.
Lichaa failed to finish training on Friday and didnt make the trip to Townsville, with Pat Politni to start the match at hooker, while Penani Manumalealii comes into the 17 on the interchange bench. Manumalealii played dummy half for Samoa earlier in the year and has also had a number of games at 9 for the NSW Cup Sharks during the 2014 season.
Also missing will be backrower Tinirau Arona, his place in the squad to be taken by youngster Patrice Siolo who makes his NRL debut. Junior Roqica moves into the starting side in place of Arona, while Siolo will start the match from the bench
Siolo is a member of the Sharks under-20's NYC squad.
The match against the Cowboys gets underway at 7.00pm.
