The most pertinent subject was obviously the ASADA issue and the upcoming interviews and information session planned for today, with skipper Paul Gallen upfront and forthright with his comments in his regular segment on Sky Radios Big Sports Breakfast.

Speaking with hosts Terry Kennedy and Michael Slater, Gallen confirmed the meeting would take place but was oblivious to the venue and content of the proposed meetings.

From there the conversation turned to the Sharks game against the Raiders on Sunday, a match the Cronulla side is desperate to win in a bid to climb off the bottom of the NRL ladder.

“We got the wooden spoon in 1967 in our first year and I don’t think we’ve had it since. And we don’t want it this year,” Gallen said.
