More than 160 Gals Pals members rubbed shoulders with the Sharks NRL stars and ran through a range of fun footy activities at the annual Sharks junior member’s clinic.

The kids, ranging in age from one 3-year-old to 13, Gals Pals members enjoyed a memorable day on a magnificent winter’s day at Remondis Stadium yesterday.

Kids at heart like Andrew Fifita, Junior Roqica, Tupou Sopoaga and Anthony Tupou were amongst the fan favourites as the majority of NRL squad participated on the day.

The players ran drills, Mick Gordon and Jeff Robson gave a few pointers on kicking goals, there were groups playing some touch footy, others a little bit of bulrush, before the NRL squad and the Gals Pals headed off to the Summertime Bar at Sharkies Leagues club with posters and memorabilia signed and photos taken.

All those in attendance also received a Sharks sticker and clacker, with the Sharks clacker possibly not all that popular once the kids got them home.

Sharks TV was on hand get a player reaction about the day they had just had with their young fans, as well as about the incredible come from behind victory over the Roosters on Saturday night.

Click play and see what they had to say, now playing on Sharks TV.
