The Sharks will be looking to build on their remarkable come-from-behind win over the Roosters and to chalk up three wins on the trot when they tackle the Newcastle Knights at Remondis Stadium on Sunday.

After overcoming 22 and 24 point deficits in their last two victories, confidence is up in the Sharks camp with hopes high for another spirited performance this weekend.

Interim coach James Shepherd, with a one-from-one record after helping to guide the team to a win last Saturday night, has stuck with a similar combination to the one which beat the Roosters.

In the only two changes to his line up, Shepherd has named a 19-man squad, a team which contains the NSW Origin pair of Paul Gallen and Luke Lewis.

Pat Politoni, who debuted in the top grade for the Sharks last weekend has been named to play again this week, with Tim Robinson and Tupou Sopoaga on standby for the Origin pair.

Sunday is also a family fun day at Remondis, with extra activities for the children, including free showbags to the first 1000 through the gates, rides and a jumping castle on the family hill, plus face painting, clowns and a stilt walker.

Entry is also free for all kids 14 years and under arriving prior to 2.00pm.

The Sharks v Knight clash is scheduled to kick off at 3.00pm at Remondis Stadium.
