More than 160 boys and girls, aged from 5 to 12, enjoyed the Sharks Junior Jaws school holiday clinic held on the back fields at Remondis Stadium on a spectacular winters’ day.
Junior Jaws involved two, three hour clinics, with qualified NRL development staff, assisted by Sharks NRL squad members, running the youngsters through a range of skills and drills, a game of touch and a Remondis Stadium tour which included special access into the NRL dressing room.
Both the morning and afternoon sessions concluded with a signing session with the Sharks NRL stars, which included the likes of Wade Graham, Michael Gordon, Jeff Robson, Anthony Tupou and Sam Tagataese.
Each child also took home a merchandise pack which included game tickets (to the Eels, Cowboys and Raiders games) a Junior Jaws t-shirt, slap band, hat and sticker, as well as a mini-football.
The snacks, which included fruit and bottled water, were provided by Kareela Quality Fresh and Schweppes/Solo.
The Junior Jaws clinics will be on again in future school holidays so watch this space, register to attend and join in the fun.
