A third Shark will be on hand when the Blues take on Queensland tonight in the second State of Origin match to be played at ANZ Stadium.

While Sharks teammates Paul Gallen and Luke Lewis will do battle on the field, Olivia Herman, Sharks NSW Cup Ball girl and daughter of NSW Cup coach Tony Herman, will be on the sideline doing her best to help get the Blues home in the all important clash.

Recognised for her efforts with the Sharks NSW Cup team over the past few seasons, as well as for her outstanding effort in raising money for the Make A Wish Foundation earlier in the year, Olivia was selected by the NSWRL to do the Ball 'girl' duties tonight.

"Olivia was very excited to get an official letter from the NSW rugby league saying she had been chosen for the Origin game," proud Dad Tony explained. "She was due to go in early, pick up her gear, then I think they were going to do the under 18's match as well before the big game later that night

"It will be a big night for her."

A big part of theSharks NSW Cup teams' premiership success in 2013, Laurie Daley, Paul Gallen and the NSW squad will be hoping Olivia is the good luck charm they need as they look to end eight years of Queensland dominance in the Origin arena
