The NYC Sharks will be looking to begin their climb up the NRL ladder when they take on the Manly Sea Eagles on Saturday.
Currently in 14th position, the Sharks tackle a Manly side just two points and two places ahead of them on the competition table.
The Sharks go into the match hoping to reverse a narrow 36-32 loss the last time the two teams met in a game the young Cronulla side controlled for much of the contest and would have been disappointed to lose.
Saturday’s game will be the second in the NYC for centre Paul Simona, brother of Tigers NRL winger Tim, who has battled back from an off-season knee injury, while with Valentine Holmes chosen to play in the NSW Cup, the versatile Dallas Wells shifts from wing to fullback for the match this weekend.
The NYC match will be the first of three to be played at Remondis Stadium on Saturday, with kickoff scheduled for 3.15pm. Gates open at 3.00pm.
