On the back of two fellow Sharks players being chosen for the Combined Catholic Schools (CCC) team another two have gained selection in the NSW Combined High Schools (CHS) opens side to contest the national championship in June.

Connor Tracey and Jayden Walker, both from the De La Salle club and both members of the Sharks SG Ball squad this season, were chosen to represent NSW CHS after the conclusion of the selection trials in Toronto near Newcastle yesterday.

Tracey, a student at Woolooware High who plays in the halves and Walker, a hard running back-rower from Endeavour Sports, have also had a taste of the Under 20’s with the Sharks this season since the Under 18’s competition concluded in early May.

Tracey has played two games in the Holden Cup, Walker one.

The pair will now come up against fellow Sharks contracted players in Jayden Brailey and Ash Nisbet when they head to the Northern Territory after that pair won selection in the NSW CCC team last weekend.

The four young Sharks will now play the National Championships in Darwin from June 6 through June 11.
