Laurie Daley looked as if he had played Origin game one such was his distressed state after fulltime, while Paul Gallen spoke about it the match as being perhaps the toughest he had ever played in when the pair addressed the media at the post-match press conference.

It was an edge-of-your-seat Origin classic, the perfect spectacle to showcase the 100th State of Origin clash.

While ecstatic about the victory, Daley and Gallen were quick to point out the job of winning back the Origin shield was only half done.

See what the pair had to say at the press conference, now playing on Sharks TV.
