Their NRL and NYC club mates may have the weekend off however the NSW Cup Sharks will still be in action when they host the North Sydney Bears in a round 12 match at Remondis Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
After two consecutive two point losses the NSW Cup Sharks returned to the winners’ circle last weekend with a comprehensive victory over the Wyong Roos and will be looking to create some momentum with a win against the Bears.
The feeder club for the South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL team, the Bears despite the fact they are sitting outside the top eight, are traditionally tough rivals in the NSW Cup competition and shouild provide stern competition for the Sharks.
Sharks coach Tony Herman has limited the changes to his side, with one significant addition seeing Junior Roqica, after debuting in the NRL on Monday night, returning to the NSW Cup side for this weekend’s match with the Bears.
The NSW Cup clash is scheduled for a 3.00pm kickoff at Remondis Stadium on Saturday.
