Sharks coach Peter Sharp admitted it was getting desperate for his team after another loss when he fronted the media at the post-match press conference.
Sharp was joined by Captain Paul Gallen, who was also at a loss to explain why his team had a nubmer of individuals struggling to find their best form.
The pair didnt offer any excuses and realised it would need to be back to the drawing board ahead of their next match which is against the Wests Tigers at Remondis Stadium on Saturday night.
