It has been a long and frustrating recovery process but the wait is set to be over on Monday night with Luke Lewis to return to the field when the Sharks tackle the Eels.

Injured in the World Cup last October, Lewis had shoulder reconstruciton surgery and after months of rehabilitation, is fit and raring to go.

In his return match Lewis will play in the unfamilair position of five eighth due to the absence of Todd Carney and as told to Amie Lindsell from NRL.com, it is a challenge he is looking forward to.

In the interview with NRL.com Lewis covered off on a number of topics, from his recovery, to his desire to help the Sharks get back on a winning track and the prospect of playing State of Origin football for NSW in a couple of weeks time.

The interview with Lewis is now playing, on Sharks TV.
