Many predicted an easy victory for the Kangaroos in the trans-Tasman Test match however a committed New Zealand outfit made the Australian team fight every step of the way.

In the end the Kangaroos proved too strong, a couple of late tries seeing them score a 16th successive Test match triumph with a 30-18 victory over the Kiwis.

It was a typical performance from Paul Gallen in the win, with the Sharks skipper leading his teammates in metres made, while also working tirelessly in defence. Jonathan Thurston was named Man of the Match, however Gallen couldn't have been too far behind.

All the match highlights are now playing on Sharks TV.
