The two Sharks junior rep teams face a stern test of their credentials on Friday night when they play the Sydney Roosters in round four matches to be played at Remondis Stadium.

The Matthews Cup Sharks, with two wins from three starts, face a Roosters outfit with the same win-loss record, while the undefeated SG Ball Sharks tackle the highly rated Roosters in the second game of the night.

The SG Ball Sharks will this week be under the control of a new head coach, with assistant Darren Quince stepping into the role in replace of Dave Howlett who has been promoted to the Sharks NYC team.

The matches are scheduled for Remondis Stadium on Friday night, with Mathews Cup getting underway at 6.15pm, followed by SG Ball at 7.30pm.
