Fitness First will hold a special Spin/Cycle Class to raise money for the Duchenne Foundation, an organisation which provides support to families living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).
"Muscular Dystrophy" is a broad term used to label genetic disorders that affect muscles throughout the body and while all forms of muscular dystrophy are considered rare, Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), which mainly occurs in boys, is the most common form. It affects approximately one boy in every 3,500.
The Duchenne Foundation-Fitness First Cronulla event is a 60 minute Spin Class which for a $25 cycle donation is open to those people, both Fitness First members and otherwise, wanting to combine a little fitness training with supporting the important work carried out by the Duchenne Foundation.
Those taking part will also have an opportunity to meet four Sharks players who will be in attendance and showing their support for this great initiative.
The event will take place on Tuesday, February 25 at Fitness First Cronulla, with the Spin Class restricted to 42 participants.
Reserve a bike now with Cronulla Fitness First reception and help support the Duchenne Foundation.
