The 14 local Cronulla-Sutherland District clubs are now taking regos, for both returning and new players, for the 2014 season catering for players from under 6’s to open age A Grade.
Under 6’s to under 15’s compete under a safe play code, with referees stringent in enforcing the rules to ensure a fun and safe sporting environment for all concerned.
The rules of the game are also modified to suit the age groups, with under 6’s to under 8’s playing Mini Footy, Under 9’s to 12’s Mod rules, before the 13’s and older move onto the more traditional international rules.
And in encouraging all junior league players to support their favourite NRL team, hopefully that being the Sharks amongst the majority of our local junior league players, all those under 17 receive a free NRL season pass.
So get down to your local junior league club and sign on to play the ‘Greatest Game of All’ in 2014.
