Experienced campaigner Peter Sharp is steering the Sharks ship as they prepare for the upcoming trials, the Auckland Nines and the kickoff to the 2014 NRL season in March.

Having coached at the highest level during a long career, Sharp is well qualified to be taking the reins at the present time in what he concedes are less-than-ideal circumstances, however as explained in a radio interview was positive about the progress the team was making.

In speaking with Stuart Clark and Jimmy Smith on the Sky Radio’s Big Sports Breakfast, Sharp covered off on a whole range of Sharks-related topics without dodging any of the pertinent issues.

Like the players and all Sharks supporters, Sharp was looking forward to the upcoming trials and the exciting Auckland Nines event as preparations were about to ramp up ahead of the season-opener against the Titans on March 10.
