Heading to the game?
The best way to get to PointsBet Stadium is by public transport.
Members and ticket holders are encouraged to take advantage of FREE train travel and shuttle bus services courtesy of the Sharks and in conjunction with Transport NSW.
Parking around PointsBet Stadium is extremely limited, with details of alternative transport options outlined below:
Public parking in the vicinity of PointsBet Stadium is extremely limited. If you do drive to the game, you are reminded to obey all road rules and parking restrictions. Sutherland Shire Council parking rangers will be on patrol on game days. Penalties apply to those parking illegally.
The parking area at Solander Fields to the West will have limited availability and parking on Captain Cook Drive will be timed and monitored. Parking in signpost restricted areas is prohibited. Public parking will be limited to the surrounding streets.
This will be located in the Captain Cook Oval council car park area adjacent to PointsBet Stadium however will be extremely limited. Unfortunately, all requests cannot be met. Public parking will be limited to the surrounding streets.
Trains will be the main mode of transport used for people attending games at PointsBet Stadium in Season 2022. They will operate at increased frequency between Sutherland and Cronulla on game days. Simply show your Membership card or match ticket on the Sydney Trains and NSW Train Link network to gain travel to and from the game (more info). Trains run regularly on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line to Woolooware Station which is a short 15-minute walk to PointsBet Stadium. Tickets to Sharks home games at PointsBet Stadium include return travel on trains.
Shuttle buses will also run in a loop from Caringbah, Cronulla and Woolooware Stations to PointsBet Stadium starting at 5pm running until kick off. Shuttle buses departing Woolooware Train Station will leave from the Kingsway side of the Station.
The shuttles will also operate post game starting at 9pm, from PointsBet Stadium to the three train stations, leaving from the bus bay on Captain Cook Drive near the stadium entrance.
Dropping at venue
For those being dropped at the venue, cars will be permitted to ‘kiss and drop’ in the bus bay out the front of the Stadium. However, Captain Cook Drive in the immediate vicinity of PointsBet Stadium will be closed to traffic 10 minutes prior to full time and for approximately 30 minutes after fulltime (with only buses permitted). It would be recommended to use Gannons or Woolooware Roads for post-game pickups.
Please note that Foreshore Boulevard will be CLOSED to the public.
