No matter which team we face off against, you know that they've put a big red target on Andrew Fifita.

Big, fast, powerful and agile, a deadly combination that puts him amongst the best big men in the game today.

His carries are powerful, creating momentum for his team and space for his halves. A big reason why teams try so hard to shut him down.

In 2017 he notched up 94 tackle breaks. The most of any Sharks player. Proving again just how much of a handful he is when he winds up.

Just take a look back at the 2017 season and you’ll see just how effective his busts are, especially when combined with his offload.

An absolute wrecking ball in Game 1 of the 2017 State of Origin Series, his barnstorming heroics drew comparisons to the late, great Arthur Beetson. A man of the match performance that put the Blues in the box seat to end the unprecedented period of dominance from the Maroons.

The most memorable break however, came against the Cowboys at Southern Cross Group Stadium back in Round 11. With the Sharks behind on the scoreboard, Fifita put his wheels in motion and skittled the would be defenders to offload to a flying Chad Townsend who crossed the stripe and got the home side back to within two points.

It was none other than Cowboys enforcer Jason Taumalolo who was one of the Cowboys on the receiving end of the charge. Showing just how monstrous Fifita can be.

Always a joy to watch when he winds up, we’re looking forward to seeing what Andrew can do not only in the upcoming 2017 Rugby League World Cup, but also in 2018 and beyond for the Black, White and Blue.
