He found his feet in the NRL in 2015, took his game to a whole new level as a member of the Sharks premiership winning side in 2016 and maintained the rage in 2017, with Sosaia Feki now rated amongst the most dependable wingmen in the NRL competition.

Forming a reliable partnership with Ricky Leutele down the Sharks left-hand side, Feki’s strong charges out of his teams’ defensive end, along with his powerful finishing, characterised the Tongan Internationals game.

Scored a team-high 13 tries in 24 games played, Feki missing just one match during the season in a display of his durability.

Exceptionally strong for a winger, Feki overshadows the majority of his teammates in the gym, with that strength going a long way towards explaining his continued improvement on the field.

A World Cup berth with either the Kiwi’s or Tonga beckons, with his development to continue and Feki likely to return as an even better player in 2018.

Season highlight: At a critical time of the year, against a fellow finals contender, Feki stood tall in an 18-14 win by the Sharks over the Dragons at Kogarah Jubilee Oval in round 10. Scored two tries and made a season-high 15 runs in a complete performance and one which highlighted his worth to the Sharks side in 2017.
