Round 25 is our final home game at Southern Cross Group Stadium for 2017 and it’s set to be BIG!
With a top four finals place up for grabs, our team needs you there more than ever.
On the night, we will celebrate Paul Gallen’s 300th NRL match after he joined the 300 Club in Round 23 against the Brisbane Broncos.
Gallen is a Club legend and the only captain to ever lift the NRL Premiership trophy in Sharks colours so we urge all Members and fans to get down and show their support for the fantastic milestone.
We will also be celebrating another two milestones on the night with James Maloney and Wade Graham both reaching 200 NRL games. Graham will reach the milestone on the night, while Maloney played his 200th match against the North Queensland Cowboys.
Gates will open at 5:00pm and our record-breaking NYC side will kick off against the Sydney Roosters at 5:15pm. All Members and fans are urged to get down to watch this scintillating side in action as they truly are a pleasure to watch.
Beginning at 6:50pm, our pre-game entertainment will feature Dane Wheeler welcome the crowds to Southern Cross Group Stadium before our NYC side are presented with the NYC Minor Premiership trophy.
On-field, there will be four (4) touch games along with the iconic Cronulla Sharks Mermaids performance, before the players enter the field through three milestone banners, for Paul Gallen, James Maloney and Wade Graham to flames and aerial fireworks. An NRL first surely!
Around the grounds we will have our Sharks Slide, obstacle course, 4 x face painters, inflatable Shark at both entrances, drummers in the Shark Tank and DJs at both entrances.
At halftime, two lucky contestants will be selected to kick for CrownBet points along with our all-popular sing-a-long.
In terms of food and beverages, our Members and fans are spoilt for choice this weekend. For the first time, we will be welcoming 3 Flamingos to our ground, offering exceptional coffee along with a wide range of homemade treats to satisfy your cravings!
Howling Forest coffee, Berlin Bangers, Street Sliders, Cheesee Toasties, pizza, a sausage sizzle, ice cream kiosk will all be in action around the ground also!
