Key Match-Ups v Broncos

We take a look at tonight's crucial clash with the Brisbane Broncos, and the key positions where this one could be won or lost

The Lock Forwards

This match up is set to light up the match!

Paul Gallen is playing NRL game 300 and is proven big game performer so the stage is set for our Sharks skipper to have a great game. Gallen's stats so far in 2017 has been nothing short of sintilating annd with a top four position there to be made concrete, expect to see the G-Train lead his team without fear into battle tonight.

Josh McGuire on the other side of the ledger is an aggressive player whole be out to spoil Gallen's celebrations. His tough approach to the game will need to be monitored by the Sharks pack and they'll have to be ready for McGuire to come for them.

Keep an eye on this one folks!

The Five-Eights

This match-up will see two players at the top of their game go head-to-head.

James Maloney is without doubt one of the premier 5/8s in the NRL, with his game leadership and direction something which has made this Sharks side so successful. Back this weekend after a few weeks on the sidelines, be sure to see Jimmy bring his A-Game tonight and get his side moving in the right direction on the brink of the 2017 Finals Series.

Anthony Milford for the Broncos is a man the Sharks need to keep a close eye on. With Ben Hunt moving into the hooking role, Milford will take more control in the halves and this can go either way for the Sharks. With electrifying speed and vision to match, the Sharks will need to be on their game with Milford tonight.

The Centres

This match-up sees strength take on speed. These two will go at each other all night and it's set to be entertaining.

Ricky Leutele is one of the Sharks most consistent players week-in week-out, performing his role each week for the team. His defence will need to be on point tonight too when he takes on one of the league's fastest players.

James Roberts is pure speed. An entertaining player when he is 'on', Roberts will need to be contained by the Sharks if the men from Cronulla are to take the two points from tonight's clash.

Expect to see some fireworks from these two tonight!
