Playing his 300th NRL game this weekend, Sharks skipper Paul Gallen says he really doesn't know what to feel about the upcoming milestone.

Speaking with the media at Southern Cross Group Stadium, Gallen said the occasion really hasn't sunk in just yet and believes that it will mean more to him when he retires.

"It's a question," said Gallen.

"I think it'll mean more to me when I retire. At the moment i'm just concerned about this week and winning the game so as I said, I think when I retire it'll mean a whole lot more.

"I don't know what to feel about it at the moment, it's all about getting out there this weekend and getting the win against Brisbane."
