Premiership-winning winger Sosaia Feki will celebrated his 100th NRL game on Sunday when the Sharks take on traditional rivals the Manly Sea Eagles.

New Zealand born of Tongan heritage, Feki made his NRL debut back in round 8 of 2013, has remained loyal to the Club ever since while becoming a fixture out on the Sharks left wing.

Feki has scored 45 tries in his 99 gates to date, an outstanding strike rate for a player known for his strong carries from dummy half.

Earlier this year, the outside back officially extended his contract with the Club until the end of the 2019 season.

Quietly spoken and a player who prefers to let his actions on the field do the talking, Feki gave a rare interview to Sharks TV earlier in the week, expressing his excited to have reached his century milestone with the Sharks.

“It’s come by pretty fast. Debuted back in round eight in 2013 against Newcastle and I haven’t looked back,” reflected Feki.

“They say the average NRL player career is 40 games and for me to play 100 is a massive achievement.”

Having formed a strong partnership with friend Ricky Leutele on the left hand side of the Sharks backline, Feki may have limped off with injury late in the Grand Final victory over the Storm, but like many of his teammates, it is a day he will never forget.

“My best memory has been winning the premiership with the Sharks, that’s what everybody plays for.”

As a tribute to Feki ahead of his 100th NRL, the Sharks put together a highlight package to be played on the big screen on game day containing all 45 tries scored in his NRL career. Enjoy the video and congratulations to Sosaia Feki on achieving a significant career milestone.
