The NYC Sharks consolidated their place on top of the Holden Cup ladder with a hard-fought win over Melbourne last Thursday and will be looking for more of the same when they host the Wests Tigers on Saturday night.
The Sharks were forced to battle hard against a quality Storm side but showed enough class and composure to get the job done as they scored their 10th win of the season in moving to 23 competition points.
This week they will face the Tigers without starting prop Brock Illet who misses one game due to suspension, however the Sharks have good depth in the front row position, with the extremely capable Eddie Faalua moving into the starting side.
The Sharks and Tigers have already met once in 2017, with the young Cronulla side claiming a 34-18 win back in round 9.
The Sharks v Tigers NYC match is scheduled to get underway at 5.15pm.
