Sharks fans can expect another exhilarating night of Rugby League when the Cronulla Sharks battle the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Southern Cross Group Stadium (SCGS).

There’s plenty to celebrate, as SCGS plays host to a Sharks and Bulldogs clash for the first time since 2011, while 1900 talented dancers are also preparing to perform this weekend as part of the Sharks’ biggest ever half time Dance Spectacular.

SCGS will open its gates at 5:00pm before the NYC sides kick off at 5:15pm, where fans can expect a fast-paced contest, with the Sharks Holden Cup side looking to consolidate its place at the top of the ladder.

The stadium atmosphere will be buzzing with DJs, drummers, Cronulla Sharks Mermaids and mascots and the kids can get excited for a Sharks slide and face painting.

An array of delicious food trucks and stalls will be camped out around the ground, offering to satisfy any craving with German sausages, burgers, sausage sizzles, cheese toastees, coffee, pizza, ice cream and more!

Kids can munch on free fruit on the Woolworths Family Hill thanks to Woolworths.

Pre-game entertainment will get underway at 6:50pm as our MC Matt DeGroot welcomes two games of Junior Rugby League to the field and then gets amongst the crowd to interview some fans and ‘bust a move’ for the much-loved Dance Cam.

The Mermaids will then remind us all why they’re the best in the business with a dazzling performance before our NRL Sharks kick off at 7:30pm.

As the Sharks and Bulldogs hit the sheds for halftime, 1,900 exquisite dancers will take over the field for Dance Spectacular.

Dancers aged from 3-17-years-old will raise the roof with an exciting performance organised by the Mermaids Head Choreographer, Jacqueline Elliott, as a total of 39 dance schools hailing from the Cronulla to Rockhampton are set to unite for one sensational performance.

The full-time buzzer will sound at 9:15pm and kids can hit the field from 9:25pm following the second siren, then for those big kids, in true Sharks Game Day style, the fun continues on next door at the Cronulla Sharks Leagues Club.

The Club has partnered with Opal Solar and the Salvation Army to bring you this week’s action-packed game day.
