Following a disappointing 22-12 loss to the Parramatta Eels the NYC Sharks will look to rebound when they host the Newcastle Knights this weekend in a round five match at Southern Cross Group Stadium on Saturday.
The young Sharks had every chance against an enthusiastic Eels outfit, only to let themselves down with poor execution in the second half, a Parramatta try on the full time siren sealing the result.
The Sharks are still firmly entrenched inside the top eight in fifth position, but with two wins and two losses will be desperate for a win to keep pace with the NYC front runners.
The Knights come into the contest in seventh after also winning two of their opening four games.
The Sharks v Knights NYC clash is scheduled as the first of three games at Southern Cross Group Stadium on Saturday and will kick off at 10.45am. The Intrust Super Premiership (12.40pm) and NRL (3.00pm) matches will follow.
