While the result for the Sharks NRL team wasn't quite what coach Shane Flanagan or the 14,000 fans in attendance may have hoped for, the Sharks Women held up their end of the bargain when they scored an impressive win in their local derby and what was their first home game hit out for 2017.

In a match to mirror the boys who would follow them onto Southern Cross Group Stadium, the Sharks Women's team registered a 20-4 triumph over the Dragons in backing up their away from home victory over the Raiders a week prior.

It was a fast and physical encounter, however the Sharks proved just a little tood good on the day.

Sharks TV was on hand to record all the action, with the commentary provided by Andrew Moore and Dene Halatau, courtesy of ABC Radio Grandstand.
