Chris McKenna arrived at the Sharks from the South Queensland Crushers in 1997 to forge a strong career which would see him represent at the highest level.

The strongly built centre from Brisbane debuted for the Sharks in the Super League competition in 1997, as the Sharks made their way to the Grand Final.

During his time at the Club, McKenna divided his time between centre and second-row, where he showed he was as equally as potent in each.

McKenna was selected in the Queensland Maroons side on 8 occasions (1 x Super League 1998 and 7 x ARL 1999-2002), before being named in the Australian side twice (2000-2002).

McKenna would go on to finish his career in Great Britain with the Leeds Rhinos, Bradford Bulls and Doncaster after tallying a total of 118 caps in Sharks colours.

Congratulations on the nominations Chris and all the best.
