As we enter our 50th Anniversary year, voting is now open for your Cronulla Sharks Team of the Half Century.
Our Club has seen some of the greats of the game pull on the Sharks jersey and we want you, our Members and fans to put together YOUR favourite team.
From our first ever game against the Eastern Suburbs at the Sydney Cricket Ground on April 2, 1967 to our maiden Premiership victory in 2016.
From our first Grand Final appearance against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in 1973 to the team who came so close to Super League glory in 1997.
A selection panel that included Gary Lester, Malcolm Greer, Phil Rothfield and David Riccio came together to select the following nominees for our Members and fans to vote based on the following criteria:
- Must embody the spirit of the Cronulla-Sutherland Football Club during their time at the Sharks;
- Must have left a lasting impact on the Club’s success and longevity during their time at the Cronulla Sharks;
- Only players and coaches were up for nomination.
Voting for the Team of the Half Century can be done through the form below, with all Members and fans given the chance to shape our Club’s history.
If you know of anyone unable to vote online however would like to take part, please direct them to the Sharks Leagues Club Reception Desk where there will be a ballot box.
