One of the few players not currently enjoying time away from the local district, Club Captain Paul Gallen spoke with the media on Tuesday as he showed off the Sharks Premiership trophy at local schools.

Discussing a host of hot topics – not least the form of new Australian Kangaroos representative, Valentine Holmes – Gallen said winning the 2016 NRL Premiership has finally begun to sink in for the playing group.

Gallen also spoke of the upcoming World Club Challenge, his boxing endeavours, and what he will use as the driving force for going back-to-back 2017.
