James Maloney and Jayden Brailey both received awards on Rugby League’s night-of-nights; the Dally M Medal.

With a number of Sharks up for nomination, it was two of the Sharks most consistent players across both the NRL and NYC who took out the awards.

James Maloney, newly recruited to the Club in 2016, was named the Dally M Five-Eight of the Year.

A big-game player, Maloney has amassed a total of 213 points in season 2016 and has been a key element of the Club’s success this season.

Jayden Brailey, the Sharks NYC captain, capped of what was a successful season for his Cronulla side by being awarded the NYC Player of the Year.

Brailey, who did not miss a game for the NYC side this year, topped the competition of tackles (1,026), line-break assists (33), receives (2,594) and try assists (31).

Congratulations to both James and Jayden on fantastic seasons and achieving this personal success
