The release of the NRL draw is imminent, with the NRL Telstra Premiership season schedule about to be revealed.

Already we know the Sharks are set to host their local rivals St George Illawarra in a round two blockbuster at Shark Park, however another sneak peek of the 2016 draw has revealed another high profile opponent will also descend on the Shire on a Sunday afternoon.

The mail says that the 2016 Grand Finalists the Broncos are set to play at Shark Park on Sunday in round nine in what will present both a challenge and an opportunity for the Sharks to display their Premiership credentials.

Already that makes two Sunday afternoon classics at Shark Park in 2016 for Sharks fans to block out the date in the diary and to ensure they are on deck to cheer their team to victory against high profile opponents.

Following today’s announcement on the lucrative new broadcast deal, the NRL has guaranteed to release the 2016 Telstra Premiership draw later today.

Stay tuned to the Sharks website and social channels for more details.
