Signing on alongside fellow Ipswich recruit Josh Cleeland, Kurt Capewell this afternoon spoke with Sharks TV about coming to the Club, and what he hopes to achieve in 2016.

Starting his time at the Jets as a rangy outside back, Capewell soon found his feet in the side's pack and went on to record a remarkable season in the back-row.

Capewell featured heavily the Jets' State Championship successes, and the former Roosters and Broncos 20s player said he'll be hoping to bring a similar vein of form to the Sharks next season.

"It's good to be back in a system, this is my first full-time training. I'm looking forward to it," Capewell said.

"(Remondis Stadium) was one of my favourite grounds that I've played at ... hopefully I get to play out here in the home colours."
