Cronulla legend Andrew 'ET' Ettingshausen caught up with Sharks TV to talk footy, fun, and his life now well into retirement.

Ettingshausen spoke with Sharks TV as the club hosted the Men of League foundation's luncheon at Sharkies Leagues on Friday, ahead of Sunday's derby clash with the Dragons.

Having played 324 first grade games for the Sharks, scoring 165 tries across his 18 playing years, the Club Immortal is readying himself ahead of his 17th season of his TV fishing show.

"17 years on tele ... It's been great, it's been a great transition from footy into fishing - the other passion in my life," said Ettingshausen.

"I'm still enjoying it, and definitely looking forward to the season ahead."
