It came as no coincidence that the Sharks second win of the season and their second victory in a row, was on the back of an outstanding performance from hooker Michael Ennis.

The experienced number nine was his usual non-stop self in defence however in finding some running room around the ruck Ennis was able to get his team on the front foot and spark a series of Sharks attacking raids.

As a result of his efforts Ennis was a worthy winner of the Harvey Norman Man of the Match, where he was more than happy to donate the prize of a Television to the De La Salle Caringbah club where two of his sons play junior league.

Sharks TV caught up with Ennis in the dressing room at Remondis Stadium straight after the game on Friday night to discuss the win over Newcastle and to talk about their next up assignment against the Bunnies on Monday night.

See what Ennis had to say in ‘From the Sheds’, now playing on Sharks TV.
