Sharks members and fans, along with any visiting supporters from Canberra, are encouraged to use Sydney trains and the Sharks’ free shuttle service for Cronulla’s NRL season-opener against the Raiders this weekend (March 8) with integrated train ticketing available for the first time.

The Sharks have worked with Sydney Trains to include train travel in the cost of tickets to home games at Remondis Stadium this season, complemented by a free shuttle service from local train stations at Sutherland, Miranda, Caringbah, Woolooware and Cronulla.

Sharks CEO Lyall Gorman said the integrated ticketing deal for all ticketholders (Football Membership, Corporate Game Day Ticket and/or General Admission Tickets) offered a hassle-free option for both home and away fans.

“We are really excited about being able to offer this sort of service to our members and fans and rugby league supporters in general who come to Sharkland,” Gorman said.

“We really encourage fans to get on board the G-train to Remondis Stadium. Trains on the T4 Illawarra Line operate to Cronulla every 15 minutes throughout the entire day.”

To help get fans get to and from the match, the Sharks’ free shuttle service will run from 3.30pm (4pm gates open, 6.30pm NRL kick-off) from local stations at Sutherland, Miranda, Caringbah, Woolooware and Cronulla to Remondis Stadium. A return free shuttle service will operate until the Leagues Club closes at midnight.

Raiders fans will be able to access train travel from Goulburn (non-booking Sydney Trains service only) as part of the Sharks’ integrated ticketing deal. For more information on train services/ timetable go to Transport for NSW.
