Although Saturday’s 22-8 trial loss to the Tigers wasn’t the result that Shane Flanagan’s men were after, areas of the performance gave the side plenty of confidence heading into the new season.
In speaking to Sharks TV, back-rower Chris Heighington and new recruit Gerard Beale gave their take on how the trial played out, as well as the moments that the side would look to replicate throughout 2015.
Despite the loss, the pair remained confident that the side would take away some positives heading into the round one clash against the Raiders, which will be played at Remondis Stadium on March 8.
