It might only be a trial but going by the excitement and intensity in his voice, look for a typical Michael Ennis performance in his debut in Sharks colours against the Wests Tigers on Saturday night.

Ennis has overcome a slight calf problem and will take his place in the Sharks squad in the teams’ final hit out ahead of the season opener on March 8.

In an interview with Sharks TV Ennis gave his thoughts on the game this weekend, his combination with halves Jeff Robson and Ben Barba and his eagerness to iron out the kinks before the serious stuff begins in a couple of weeks’ time.

He also assured Sharks fans he has recovered from the injury that kept him out of All Stars and is 100 per cent fit and ready to provide a preview of what he is set to deliver for the Cronulla side in 2015.

Ennis took time out to speak with Sharks TV, with his interview now playing.

The Sharks are expected to announce their team to play the Tigers tomorrow, with Ennis certain to be a part of that selected side.
