The preparations are complete, with the 2015 junior rep season proper about to get underway, albeit a week late for the Sharks Matthews Cup and SG Ball teams.

After sitting out week one of the competition due to the bye, the Sharks 16’s and 18’s face a tough first-up assignment when they tackle the Parramatta Eels in matches to be played at Patrician Brothers College, Blacktown.

The Matthews Cup Sharks, who kick off their match at 4.00pm, face a Parramatta side which comfortably defeated the Sydney Roosters by 44-12 in their first round clash.

In the SG Ball the Sharks take on an Eels squad who were equally impressive in their season opener in beating the defending 18’s premiers the Roosters 34-20.

The SG Ball match gets underway at 5.30pm.

Both Sharks teams have trained and trialled strongly throughout the pre-season and are positive about their prospects ahead of their first official games for 2015.

The Sharks teams have been named for Saturday’s games.
