While the attention of players and coaching staff has turned to the Manly trial match tomorrow, the NRL Nines and the Sharks impressive performance is still fresh in the minds of everybody who watched their progress through the tournament last weekend.
The Sharks came within a golden point try of claiming the Nines title, edged out in the end by 2014 NRL Premiers the Rabbitohs in a memorable Nines final.
Over the course of their six matches in Auckland the Sharks enjoyed plenty of exciting moments, scoring numerous tries, in winning five games on the trot before their heart-breaking loss in the championship decider.
