The Sharks went through a field session in damp and dismal conditions before hitting the gym in their final two training tasks before they head to Auckland for the NRL 9’s which starts Saturday.

The travelling party put some time into their Nines combinations, with Wade Graham assuming the captaincy in filling in for Luke Lewis following his withdrawal yesterday. The team looked sharp at training and were excited about their prospects of a strong showing at the tournament which kicks off the NRL’s 2015 calendar.

The Sharks enjoyed a successful run at last years’ Nines, winning their way through to the final four before being beaten in a semi-final by the Brisbane Broncos.

Sharks TV caught up with some of the members of the 18-man Nines squad, with skipper Graham eagerly anticipating the trip across the ditch. Sharks TV also spoke with new recruit Kyle Stanley, 2014 Nines sensation Fa’amanu Brown and prop Junior Roqica.

See what they had to say and what they think lies ahead at the NRL Nines this weekend, now playing on Sharks TV.
