Gallen looks after the Bulls
After promising his time in a charity auction last year Sharks Captain Paul Gallen came good on his pledge when he took charge of a VIP training experience with a group of kids from the Hills Bulls junior club.
Paul took the kids on a tour in the dressing sheds, through the Sharks HPU and up into the football staff offices, they took to the field to run through some skills and drills, before finishing up with a game of touch football.
Gallen donated the prize, his time and planned the session by himself arranged, with the 10 young Bulls also receiving a Sharks ‘Show Bag’ at the end of the session.
Nines preparations complete
The Sharks concluded preparations for the NRL Nines with a field session in damp conditions on the new fields at Cronulla High School this morning.
The 18-man squad set about working through some combinations and getting their head around the unique format ahead of their departure for Auckland tomorrow.
To now be led by Wade Graham following the late withdrawal of Luke Lewis, the Sharks will field a squad featuring a mixture of youth and experience, with Valentine Holmes and Jack Bird to play alongside the likes of Chris Heighington, Gerard Beale and Kyle Stanley.
The Sharks will play in the Nines in Auckland in a specially designed jersey, one which is available for purchase from the Sharks Store at www.sharksstore.com.au.
Sharks Fans can also purchase a special piece of memorabilia with the player-worn jerseys to be individually signed, then auctioned at the conclusion of the tournament. Stay tuned to the Sharks website to find out how you can make a bid and own a unique item of sporting memorabilia.

The ‘Locker Room’ – Official Opening Saturday
Not heading across to Auckland to take in all the action of the NRL Nines? Then the next best place to watch the Sharks go through their paces is in the newly refurbished ‘Locker Room’, located on the foyer level in Sharkies Leagues Club.
Come and watch all the action with fellow Sharks fans in the Locker Room, an area with bar facilities and featuring pool tables, dart boards, video and arcade games and with Sharks memorabilia adorning the walls, while members and their guests can take in not only the Auckland Nines but that favourite sporting event on any one of the numerous big screen televisions.
The Locker Room is set to become a favourite gathering place for Sharks fans, with the room best described as the ultimate ‘man-cave’.
But first and foremost at the official unveiling of the Locker Room, the Sharks will make their assault on the NRL Auckland Nines.
The team managed to progress to the final four in 2014 and with a squad combining youthful exuberance and experienced NRL campaigners, anything could happen at this years’ tournament.

Also in the Locker Room
In addition to the Nines, hang around in the Locker Room to watch the Aussies play for the Asian Cup and Sharks captain Paul Gallen take to the ring in the Footy Show fight night.
The Socceroos won their way into the final last night in beating the UAE, with their opponents South Korea, a team who beat the Australians in the round robin stage of the tournament. The Asian Cup final kicks off at 8.00pm and will be shown live in the Locker Room.
Also on show in the Locker Room will be the Sharks captain courageous, taking on MMA specialist Randall Rayment on the third from last bout scheduled for the night. Catch Gal in action in what will be his third professional fight.
Local youngster George Kambosos takes on an overseas opponent in the penultimate match, before Sonny Bill Williams caps off the evening with a heavyweight clash.
All on the big screen in the Locker Room.
And there’s prizes to win – Saturday in the Locker Room
One lucky patron will win a signed Sharks Nines jersey on Saturday courtesy of the business card draw, while anyone who purchases a Nines jersey from the Sharks Store on the day receives a complimentary ticket to the upcoming Jon Stevens concert at Sharkies Leagues Club.
These special prizes are on offer this Saturday, to Sharks Store customers or to members and guests attending the official opening of the Locker Room.

CSSC ‘Bus of Dreams’
Those interested in attending the Sharks first trial match of 2015, to be held at Pittwater Rugby Park on February 7, can take the hassle out of their trip north by hopping on the CSSC ‘Bus of Dreams’.
With trials scheduled in both the NYC and NRL, Sharks fans can potentially get their first glimpse of new recruits Ben Barba, Gerard Beale, Michael Ennis and Kyle Stanley going around in Cronulla colours (subject to their selection for the trial) against the traditionally tough Manly outfit.
