Club captain Paul Gallen will be joined by the likes of Luke Lewis, Jeff Robson Chris Heighington, Wade Graham and Michael Gordon in celebrating Australia Day at Anzac Oval in Engadine next Monday.

The high profile Sharks are set to be a part of Sutherland Shire Council’s Australia Day festivities, with everyone invited to come along, meet the players, take part in the fun activities on offer and to enjoy the entertainment planned.

The Council’s Australia Day celebrations begin at 4.00pm, with Gallen, Heighington and Lewis in attendance from 4.30-5.30pm, before the second group of Sharks, including Graham, Robson and Gordon arrive at the event from 6.30-7.30pm.

The event is scheduled to run through until 9.00pm, with food stalls and rides in addition to the on-stage entertainment, with plenty of space available to lay a picnic rug and enjoy the night.

The Bronzed Aussies, Peter Morgan Band, Peppermint Jam and The Australian Fleetwood Mac Show are just some of acts providing the entertainment, with a Fireworks Finale planned for the end of the night.

The cost of the day is free, with no bookings required. For those unfamiliar with the area, Anzac Oval is located at 111-113 Anzac Avenue, Engadine, adjacent to Engadine Pool. You can’t miss it!
