The Cronulla Sharks have continued their hard work both on the training paddock and also in the local community leading into Christmas.

The Sharks embarked on school visits, attended community events and sponsor activations and ‘patrolled’ the Shire by dropping into a variety of local area shopping hubs, interacting with the fans over two weekends.

Then shortly before their festive season break the Christmas Community Blitz involved visits to Sylvanvale Pre-School and the Sutherland and Randwick Children’s hospital’s where the playing group handed out gifts and put smiles on the faces of those struggling at this special time of year.

See following some key events the club and players have supported during the month of December.

School Visits
•             300 NRL game player and now-Sharks NRL Elite Development coach John Morris attended Kirrawee HS, presenting a prestigious sports award.

• Jack Bird, Michael Ennis, Mitch Brown, Kyle Stanley, Nathan Gardner and Matt Prior attended Sylvanvale’s Mikarie Centre Pre-School to spread some Christmas joy and hand out presents donated by the Sylvania Waterways Residents. The Sharks were able to also donate a number of gifts directly to the pre-school for their future use.
