After ironing out some of the bumps and bruises of pre-season training at a recovery session tomorrow morning (Wednesday, December 17), the Sharks NRL playing group will then head out to the Sylvanvale, Mikarie pre-school at Kirrawee - which features a number of special needs kids as well as to Sutherland Hospital and the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick as a part of their annual ‘Community Christmas Blitz’.

In an effort to continue their interaction with the community and to give their time putting smiles on the faces of those less fortunate, the likes of Michael Ennis, Mitch Brown, Kyle Stanley, Michael Gordon, Gerard Beale and many more will distribute toys and gifts kindly donated by the Sylvania Waterways Residents group.

At least six players will drop by at each venue in spreading some ‘Sharks Christmas spirit’ and engaging with individuals and families who are in need of support during the festive season.

The visits also allow the players to make a difference and by visiting these sick children at this special time of the year gives them a sense of appreciation for the privileged positions they hold in the community.

In addition to the boys listed above Jack Bird, Matt Prior, Nathan Gardner, Junior Rociqa, Blake Ayshford, Anthony Moraitis, Tinirau Arona, Sosaia Feki, Ricky Leutele, Nu Brown and Valentine Holmes will also take part in the Sharks Christmas Blitz.
