Sharks young gun Valentine Holmes has been called into the Under 20's Junior Kangaroos team to play the Junior Kiwis in Auckland next Saturday. 

In the train-on squad but originally left out of the 18-man team, Holmes was added due to the withdrawal of Roosters winger Nene MacDonald. 

He joins new Sharks recruit Jack Bird in the Junior Roos team, with Bird first chosen as an interchange bench utility before being moved into the starting side as a centre. 

Sharks NSW Cup Coach Tony Herman is the Assistant Coach of the Junior Kangaroos. 

The Junior Kangaroos play the Junior Kiwis on Saturday, October 18 at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland.
